Hey! I'm Kelly - 4th year CS student at UBC , interested in building elegant software and products that are equally as secure.

I'm a current Security Engineer Intern at 1Password , and just finished a summer researching defenses for OT cybersecurity network DoS attacks under Professor Aastha Mehta, broadly part of the Systopia Lab .

Previously interned at Aquatic Informatics and AlgaeCal for software, building components and doing E2E testing. Also forayed into business as an IT Enterprise Architecture intern at BC Hydro , doing OT/IT cybersecurity market research, VR and robotics.

I play in CTFs with Maple Bacon , specifically reverse engineering and forensics. My writeups and general tech thoughts are here , and the calendar below functions as a CTF "habit tracker", if you will - note that it's currently un-updated (trying to figure out a way to make the sync process with pwn.college and manual upsolves less tedious).

Outside of tech, you can find me playing board games, learning to play the guitar, reading, or doing misc sports/exercise (recently it's been gymming or badminton, although basketball and pickleball sound pretty fun too :)
